The 9 Best Astrology Podcasts of 2024
Astrology is everywhere! It has woven itself into the fabric of the Now, The Zeitgeist, Modern Times or whatever you want to call the present day.
Astrology podcasts are my favorite way to consume the astro-news, get my weekly horoscope, or to learn about a new astrology concept I’m still wrapping my head around.
But all astro pods are not created equal.
Some don’t get to the point, banter for too long, or don’t address things I care about.
What Makes for a Good Astrology Podcast?
When picking the top astrology podcasts for 2024, several factors come into play:
- Content Quality: Does the podcast address current astrology trends? Are the discussions insightful and informative?
- Host Expertise and Likeability: Do I trust and like this person and do I like their voice and POV? Do they explain things in a way I can understand?
- Production Value: Smooth audio, professional editing, and well-structured content make or break a podcast.
All of these are available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever you get your podcasts.
Here are my top astrology podcasts for 2024,
1. Astrology of the Week Ahead with Chani Nicholas
Chani Nicholas’s podcast is a great place to start if you’re starting your astro journey, and once you get your feet wet, a great place to stay.
Astrology of the Week Ahead has insightful weekly astrology forecasts and practical advice for the coming astro-weather. Chani’s warm, nurturing voice will become a guide for you as it has for many, and if you watch the video too, you’ll drink in her perfectly styled curls.
Chani will always promote the CHANI astrology app and as a past user, I can recommend.
2. Ghost of a Podcast
Hosted by Jessica Lanyadoo, “Ghost of a Podcast” is a go-to for anyone looking to merge astrology with real-life advice.
Jessica’s background as a counselor, psychic medium and astrologer shines through, offering listeners clarity and guidance. Jessica takes listener questions and reads their birth charts, which if your learning astrology can be very helpful. She is an activist who talks politics which I like, but if you’re not into that, maybe skip this one.
She has episodes of yore called “Hot Takes” that are super helpful tidbits that will help you understand the signs, houses, and various transits.
2. The Astrology Podcast
Chris Brennan’s The Astrology Podcast is a staple in the astrology community. It’s extremely thorough and maayyyyybe not for someone just coming to astrology for the first time. Chris has a deep knowledge of well-known astrologers and the history of astrology.
Chris Brennan is a great teacher and can discuss astrology to a depth that could have a complete beginner spinning. He might refer to techniques you don’t know about. His podcast is a great way to dive right into the deep end of astrology.
4. Nightlight Astrology
Adam Elenbaas hosts Nightlight Astrology, providing in-depth series and current sky transits.
With a blend of education and intuition, Adam explores astrology’s deep waters, making complex aspects accessible to all.
You can tell he’s a deep thinkin’ guy and really easy to listen to.
6. The Astrology Hub Podcast
Astrology Hub delivers a nice array of content, from interviews with leading astrologers to weekly horoscopes and deep dives into the meanings of various aspects.
Host Amanda Walsh curates engaging content that attracts both newcomers and seasoned listeners. The special episodes on astrology and mindfulness are listener favorites.
7. Stars Like Us
Aliza Kelly combines celebrity gossip with astrological discussions in Stars Like Us. Her engaging style and informative episodes make astrology approachable and modern.
Standout episodes include discussions on astrology and identity, resonating with listeners navigating self-discovery. She also happens to be the resident astrologer on The Drew Barrymore Show.
8. The Weekly Transit
Hosted by Scott Tejerian, The Weekly Transit offers fresh insights on the planetary movements influencing your week. The fluid narrative and relatable advice keep listeners coming back for more cosmic wisdom.
Scott also has a book on the basics of astrology aptly titled, The Basics of Astrology. I have a copy and highly recommend it.
9. The Cosmic Calling
Cosmic Calling inspires listeners to align their career with cosmic principles, hosted by professional astrologer Natalie Walstein. Key episodes explore astrology’s role in career development. Great for newbies to astrology.
Astrology podcasts continue to flourish and I’m sure we’ll see new ones pop up in coming years.
